Case Study 5 - Construction

Management of a major Asian automotive technical center sought solutions to efficiently organize, coordinate and implement all necessary services in order to facilitate a “quick” move of their current offices to a new, larger corporate campus. Following the move, this customer desired to maintain the streamlined, integrated contracting of facility services as well as partnering with a company which could provide unsurpassed services matching the needs of their new, high visibility corporate headquarters.

Premium Services, Inc. seamlessly emerged as a “working” partner with our customer on this project. Our aggregate service and assumed value allowed the customer to realize cost savings and coordination efficiencies throughout this project.

Premium Services, Inc. immediately acted as adjunct project manager, meeting with the customer on a daily basis and communicating information, which proved imperative, both during the planning stages and the actual implementation stage of the transition.

During our performance of service, our role continued to expand as we identified and implemented multiple service programs to realize a seamless facility transition without any interruption to our customer’s core business responsibilities.
  • Initial new site physical assessment
  • Development of a comprehensive, 6-week transitional service plan including all aspects of new facility’s:
    1. Transference of Mechanical systems
    2. Space planning and interior design for new facility
    3. Construction of new offices, conference rooms, kitchens, restrooms, etc. throughout facility
    4. Construction / re-configuring of new facility to meet existing and anticipated needs
    5. Construction of new truck bays
    6. Execution of both interior & exterior building improvements
    7. Coordination of landscape, snow removal and janitorial services
    8. Scheduling of all future preventative maintenance and related work
    9. Turn-key exit services for “old” facility’s turnover to interested party(s).

Premium Services, Inc., subjected to intense time-line and performance based scrutiny by the Asian H.Q. office, brought the local project in on-time, on-line and at budget, all while changing the facility services paradigm for this customer. Premium Services, Inc. again positioned itself as an integrated facility services provider.
